Registration Terms and Privacy Policy

1. Purpose

These terms govern registration for events organized by ASN Technologies Inc. ("ASN") through the ASN Events platform, and the handling of the personal information collected for that purpose, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

2. Information collected

At registration: first name, last name, company, business email, phone, job title and preferred language.

At the time of registration, as proof: the date and time, the version of these terms accepted, your consent choices, and the IP address and browser type used.

3. Use

Your information is used only to manage your registration: confirmation, reminder before the event, on-site check-in, thank-you and follow-up after the event.

It is never sold or rented. You can stop receiving emails about an event at any time with the unsubscribe link included in every message.

4. Disclosure to third parties

Your information is shared with an event partner only if you consented by ticking the optional box provided for that purpose. That consent is separate from accepting these terms: declining it does not prevent your registration.

ASN uses technical providers (hosting, Microsoft 365 email delivery) that process information on its behalf and under its responsibility.

5. Retention and security

Information is hosted on servers administered by ASN, with access restricted to authorized staff.

It is kept for as long as needed for the purposes stated, then destroyed or anonymized. Proof of your consent is kept as long as the information it relates to.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, or withdraw a consent you gave, by writing to the person in charge of the protection of personal information: info@asntech.com.

You may also cancel your seat at any time from the link in your confirmation email.

7. Cookies

ASN Events public pages use no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Only your cookie choice is remembered in your browser, so you are not asked again.

Should non-essential cookies ever be added, they would only be enabled after your explicit consent, which you can change at any time with the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the pages.

8. Electronic proof

By ticking the acceptance box, you accept these terms electronically. ASN keeps a timestamped proof of that acceptance, showing the version accepted.

9. Changes

ASN may change these terms. Each version has its own number; the version that applies to your registration is the one you accepted.
